Title: .Net Developers
Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has several openings for VB.Net Developers. These positions are based in Dearborn, MI for a large Fortune 500 Financial client. Please note that these project assignments are with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end-clients. These positions are expected to be long term. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.
Required Skills (Must Have):
• 4+ years of strong experience in Visual Basic .Net and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development skills including experience with SQL Server DBMS 2005 and/or 2008 and Teradata
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems - Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge
• Strong skills in integrating Word/Excel/Access/Outlook/Visio into VB.Net application
• Ability to deliver under pressure
• Ability to follow a Software development methodology
• Must have demonstrated ability to follow processes and to comprehend controls issues and requirements.
• Ability that demonstrates an out of the box thinking style.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
• Experience with RUP
• Familiarity with Accurev/PVCS/code management tools
• Build scripts using Ant
• Web Services integration with .NET.
